OHOF’S STORY THROUGH ITS PEOPLE Naaman Kincaid and his parents were the last family to leave Hochatown when the old Choctaw Indian village was covered by the waters that formed Broken Bow Lake in 1969. In 2021, at age 90, Kincaid was excited to receive a copy of Explosion of Prosperity, published by the Oklahoma Hall of Fame, that chronicles the history of Hochatown, Beavers Bend State Park, and Broken Bow Lake.
